  1. Thank Goodness a voice of reason in all the “smoke and mirrors” that are out there. Can’t wait for future posts. Specifically searched corn and didn’t have what I was looking for – specifically something to address the “grain free”, “corn free” and “GMO” concerns held by many (professional and lay persons)

    • Hi Kim,

Thanks for reading and for the ideas on future topics. I have a few posts that I’m working on (one is actually about grains and carbs for dogs and cats), but I like your idea of featuring corn and GMO. They might deserve their own individual posts since they are such hot marketing topics.

  2. Hello Dr. Weeth,

I just read your article in DVM 360 and wanted to thank you for presenting some common sense ideas for vets to present to their clients. I am a veterinary assistant/nutritionist with a MS in animal nutrition and work in a mixed animal practice so I tend to field all our nutrition questions. I continually hear clients mention marketing buzz words and am always trying to clarify things for clients. This article will help the vets in the practice clarify as well.
